With Ph.D in Special Education from Osmania University, Hyderabad, Dr. Jyothi brings in 40+ years of enormous experience in teaching children with special needs and trained more than 10,000 families. Children trained under her guidance are able to hear and speak and lead an independent life. Dr. Jyothi who is a “Best Teacher” awardee for the year 2002 by Hon. Governor of Andhra Pradesh has experience in identifying and diagnosing the problems in children with special needs such as ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Autism, Learning Disabilities and help counsel the parents on how to integrate their children with the normal group. Dr. Jyothi has presented many papers on the needs of special children at national and international seminars to help promote her knowledge to wider audience. As special educator, Dr. Jyothi has conducted many projects such as Mothers Training Program for less educated parents, early childhood education program for children below 2 years in conjunction with state and central governments.
