• Completed Ph.D. from Osmania University, Hyderabad in the field of Special Education.

• More than 40 years of experience in teaching, trained over 10,000 families in making their children hear and speak, enabling them to lead independent lives.

Awards:

• Best Teacher awardee by State Government (AP), by Governor of Andhra Pradesh in 2002.

• Best Teacher award in the category of Change Maker from United Nations Summit in 2021.

• Lifetime Achievement award in International Conference in Educators of the Deaf, Hyderabad Chapter 2024.

• Champion Award from Meenakshi Foundation, Hyderabad in 2025.

• Experience in Identification and diagnosis of problems in special children (ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Autism, Learning Disabilities, etc.) and providing counselling and guidance to children and parents for proper growth and integration into normal groups.

• Presented 25 research papers on the needs of special children in national and international seminars.

• Conducted and successfully completed projects like Mothers Training Program for less-educated parents and Early childhood education program for children below 2 years of age with special needs.

• Conducted many camps for identification of special children in government primary schools.

• Conducted camps for identification of speech and hearing problems of elderly people.
